What was with the super-human-zombie-strength? walking dead

The zombie basically disemboweled Dale with it's hands.

That's a new phenomena. Previously, they've been uncoodinated and somewhat weak, but this one tonight had the strength and dexterity to rip open skin and muscle tissue just by grabbing and tearing with fingers. Same with the cow, and cowhide is a damn sight tougher than human skin!
That's not something a normal, living human would be able to do, so how are walkers able to do that now?
Are the zombies mutating? Getting better with age?
Maybe next season, they'll be able to commuicate and reproduce? Zombie families, anyone?

 Like father like son.....Carl is learning how to create danger for the group that is easily avoided. They should elect Shane as their new leader and beat the kids ass with a razor strop.
Thank God They killed Him off,He was the most annoying Person on the Show,I only wish They made Him a Zombie before They killed Him. He was a bit mamby pamby, and always gettin in everyone else business. Apparently he felt he was the groups moral compass.

 Last season, AMCTV offered an online personality profile test to see which character profile your personality fits, and mine was closest to Dale's.

Now Carl will have to deal with his part in Dale's death. Had he not gone off on his own, and had he not teased the walker stuck in the mud to the point that the walker freed itself, or if he had just shot the walker when he had the chance, Dale would still be alive. That kid is going to be trouble.

The writing was horrible tonight......too much....

agonizing over what to do with the Gimp.

And then the whole thing with Dale just seemed contrived.

Weird episode, and not in a good way, the writing is still very uneven.
I'm liking Justified a lot more.
